Madonna has filed an adoption application to adopt a child from Malawi named Mercy James. Madonna first met Mercy on her first visit to Malawi at the Kondanani Children’s Village in the town of Bvumbwe in 2006.
Madonna had expressed interest in adopting Mercy in 2006 but instead adopted son David Banda from Home of Hope orphanage, in the central district of Mchinji on the border with Zambia. Mercy’s surviving relatives include a grandmother and uncle who resisted the adoption in 2006.
If the adoption is finalized Mercy would become the fourth child for Madonna joining Madonna’s children Lourdes, Rocco, and David.
Madonna is to appear in court on March 30th for a hearing on the adoption case.

Lindsay Lohan Wanted by Cops
An arrest warrent has been issued for Lindsay Lohan in her 2007 DUI case.
“[A] warrant was in fact issued [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan,” says a statement from the Beverly Hills Police Department. “The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run.”
In her 2007 DUI case, Lohan drove her Mercedes on to the Curb with two passengers inside. She was cited for driving under the influence and having a blood alcohol level well above the legal limit.
“The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Ms. Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter can be resolved in a timely manner,” the PD said.

After getting autographs from stars Brad Pitt and Twilight star Robert Pattinson, the group next met Mickey Mouse and rode “It’s A Small World” ride.

Salma Hayek marries her billionaire ex-fiancé on Valentine’s Day, the “most romantic day of the year”, says Hallmark. A day on which thousands of couples exchange vows and apparently, Salma and her ex became one of them. Their on-again, off-again relationship rekindled gradually after calling off their engagement last July. Where did the newlyweds marry? In a small ceremony in Paris, “the most romantic city in the world”. So what do you get for a bridal gift to a couple who can afford practically anything? Nothing, seriously, her now hubby is the CEO of PPR, (or Pinault-Printemps-Redoute) which subsidizes Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Puma.
Photo Shows Michael Phelps Smoking Bong
Olympics Swimming Champion Michael Phelphs is suspended for three months after the whole bong thing. USA Swimming is very dissaponted by Phelps because he is a role model for so many. Wall Street Journal editors wrote an article about how hundreds of thousands of people are arrested every year on drug charges and why Phelps should be treated no differently.
Celebrity does come with baggage.

Prom Night for Less
Some couples will spend $1000 on their prom basics – a white limousine, nice dinner and of course, prom attire. Dont let your prom souvenier be a credit card bill. Prom is not recession proof, at least not in these economic times. We have some tips for you to enjoy your prom more without racking up hefty bills.
Lets start with the ride. For some, even a limousine is not enough. Nothing quenches their thirst short of a stretch Hummer. Forget the hummer or the limo – why not share a limo with your close friends, classmates. A pedicure, manicure won’t do either, some want the day long spa treatment with facials and other beauty treatments. We suggest you find a modest beautician for pedicure, manicure. Get your girlfriends together and ask for a group discount. Some girls spend more on their dresses than their mothes did on wedding gowns. Get your prom dress for under $100 at Cybernetplaza.com and save $$$.
Instead of buying expensive accessories, learn to borrow from your mother or friends. You can borrow jewelery, hair accessories, et. al. or buy them inexpensive or when they are on sale. You don’t have to have the most expensive dress to look sharp. Get the dress that gives you a good look and fits great. Nothing looks better than a great fit.
The key to the memorable prom night is to know where to splurge and where to skimp. Teenagers face daunting task when budgeting for prom dance. It is not just the clothes, the limo or the dinner, the tickets alone cost $100 a couple. Then there is the dinner, the flowers and the photos – plus the after-party to think about. It’s a lot of money for a single night.
How much the typical prom costs depends on how you define “typical.” A researcher at North Dakota State University found couples in that Midwestern state spent an average $509 on the prom in 2004, with girls shouldering $296 and boys $213. Parents footed all the bills for more than a quarter of prom-goers, research found.
Your Prom magazine said its poll of national readers, which includes teens in pricier places, found the average price tag was over $1,000, with boys spending $545 and girls $530.
The year has come full swing and its again prom season. So, we are busy purchasing dresses for prom 2009. The prom dresses this season are going to be similar to last year’s. Seniors are going to choose more straight dresses over puffy dresses. It does not matter if the dresses are long or short. Just as long as the dresses are unique and bright in colors.
You are going to see a lot of prints, patterns, metallics, polka dots type dresses. The prices of the dresses this year will be very modest as is always the case at cybernetplaza.com
